Keith Pun
Keith Pun (countertenor) is an emerging vocal talent based in London, whose ‘multiple modes in his soaring voice’ was praised as ‘brilliant’ in The Guardian's 5-star review of his Royal Opera House debut in the 2022/23 season. He made his first appearance with the English Touring Opera in the same season and performed in Alex Ho’s Fedora Prize-winning anti-opera Untold at Concertgebouw Brugges and O. Festival (Rotterdam). This season, he played Cupid in Monteverdi’s The Coronation of Poppea for the English Touring Opera and is due to sing the revival performances of Ruination at the Royal Opera House and Venice Biennale. Keith graduated from the Royal College of Music and The Chinese University of Hong Kong before furthering his training at the English National Opera.
Keith's first collaboration with Lance was the commissioning of 渡:感懷七闋 (Transmigration) in 2022 and they eventually performed a recital at O. Festival. More upcoming projects include Silhouettes of Passion's Master-mistress.
